I am grateful for learning how to make my own sweetened condensed milk. Those of you who are not lactose intolerant have no idea how horrible holidays are...I cannot eat ANY of the sweets, pastries, or many of the pies. This year, I made my own sweetened condensed milk with lactose free milk, then make my own pumpkin pie with it. Tasted great, if I do say so myself!
