I need to go back to the basics today. I'm in a situation that I really don't enjoy. I was getting ready for bed and the news of the Paris attacks started to come in. Grateful we are safe for today.

The people that help me see the big picture. I can be so narrow minded and caught up on the rat race. I need those people that stick a hand out when I'm running by and say "hey, slow down for a bit. The worlds not going anywhere."

Copy that. Thank you to all the veterans and those currently serving as well. As a veteran myself I just wish I could get the day off once..lol.

I'm grateful for having a new kitchen table. I came home from work the other day and the kitchen table was gone, along with the china cabinet. My wife didn't even tell me she was selling them but apparently had them on craigslist and I came home from a work trip to find an empty room..lol. I have no say in house decor so I just go along with whatever she says. The new table looks great and she bought a huge mirror to hang on the wall in place of the china cabinet, and we still have a curio in the corner so it looks nice.
