Grateful today for Christmas around the corner and finally able to sit back and enjoy our tree and decorations inside and out.

It took me along time to not wear that fake front but I still catch myself putting it on from time to time. A work in progress. Good stuff guns.

I am talking about personal freedom. I guess you are right, there is a price to pay. for me it was facing fears, retiring, and distancing some loved ones from me for some time. Not easy at all but essential for me. Hoping they are still there but understanding if they are not

Was able to get together with a few good friends last night and really shoot the shit. These are guys I talk to about my family and some of the more important things in my life. Its pretty damn cool when a group of men can talk about their feelings and not judge one another.

It's not always easy but it's worth it.

Waking up to a thunder storm in mid December. Really cool. It was also a great night last night watching my oldest perform in his highschool Christmas concert. I think this Christmas thing might be growing on me

My job, it really helps me appreciate time off with my family.
And it kinda helps pay the bills.
