A great meet for our daughter today! Started off awesome on the parallel bars and her grip twisted and she dropped from pretty high. Fell to the floor and her coach told us she fell the right way. I am grateful that she wasn't hurt bad. She continued to the next event even though her coaches wanted her to sit out. Then ended up taking first place in 3 out of the 4 events and placed in overall . I sit and watch the video of her falling and it scares the hell out of me. I am so proud that she went on. I pray before all meets that she stays safe and I am always glad that when no one gets injured at the meets.

Very cool BABY. Yes injury are always in the back of my mind as a parent too. My 11 year old plays tackle foot and that age they are not too fast or strong but every now and then a kid goes down for a bit. It's so tough letting them do what they love and not letting that panic rat lose. It's great she finished strong but surprising the more I get to know her parents.

My wife has just recently started drinking coffe and loves it. This from a woman who hasn't had a cup her whole life. I do not like the taste but love the smell and caffeine.... My morning go to. I see a coffe maker in our house before to long and I am sure I will get roped in.

that I got all my shopping done!!!!

I only bought one gift this year and that was for my wife. That wonderful woman bought for the kids, in-laws, and god knows who else I will help her wrap it all this Saturday in our yearly 3 hour wrap extravaganza. We have it down to a science now though and it's just like an assembly line.
