    Back in the gym today after 3 days off. I actually feel better when I get all my workouts in. I was super sore all day Saturday and had reoccurring charlie horses in muscles along the edge of my ribs all day yesterday.

    Mondays Chest and Back

    Spider walks 1 minute 2x
    Back extensions 12 reps 3 sets
    Bench Press 45 x 38 wide, 27 narrow, 30 regular grip
    Pull Overs 25x20x3
    DB Shrugs 25x16x3
    Fly machine 40x20x1, 55x16x1, 70x12x1
    Slant board side crunches 25x3
    Wide lat pull down 60x20, 75x16, 90x12
    Dual Cross Cable 5, 7.5x20 ea, 10x16 chest, 5, 7.5x20x2 downward flys ,5, 7.5x20, 7.5x16 upward flys,
    Seated lat pull machine 40x20x1, 55x16x1, 70x14x1
    HS Ab 20x25x3
    Spider walks 1 minute 2x
    Lateral Raises 10lbs x20x3
    Seated Calf Raise 1 plate 20x2

    I am super excited that Rake has added in this cable machine, he says it's because I'm right in front of the mirror lol. He's partly right, I love to be able to see whether both sides of my body are doing the same thing. I really have to concentrate to get it right it is very challenging for me.

          I had a great day today I'm finally turning the corner with my shoulder. I added 1 tab glucosamine HCI 1500mg, MSM 1500mg back into my vitamins about 2 weeks ago and along with my run I started on the first. I have been able to get my workout tops off by myself for 4 days now. I know this sounds silly but for about a week I had to have Rake take any top I was wearing, off for me. I was really getting scared that I will be that old lady who can't dress herself anymore and that would feel pretty demeaning for the rest of my life. I don't feel any stronger yet but I started to stack today so we'll see what happens. Today was our slowest day so only had to work about 4 hours.

          Quads/Triceps Tuesdays/ Fridays

          Leg extensions 44x60x3(warmup)
          Dips counterweight 36lbs x20x3
          Hack Squat 45 x20, 90x 15, 135x12
          Slant board crunches 25x1, side to side 25x2.
          Single arm tricep 25lbs 12(5)12 left, 25lbs 10(5)10 right. (partner resist), 3 sets
          HS iso single leg extension 45x12x3 each leg, these seemed super hard today
          Single arm cable no handle 20x20x3 each arm
          Hammer strength Ab Crunch 30, 40, 50x25 each
          Spider walks 1 min 2x
          I did the hand bicycle first time ever 1.5 min forward 1.5 min backward don’t know how to work this yet but I think it may be good for my shoulders so I’ll figure it out.
          Foam rolled almost all my body, don’t do this often either but I think it made me feel better

            I was told that I am way too thick through the arms and shoulders and that my husband is making me lift way too heavy weights. What do you think??

              if i were a betting man i would say that it was either a fat person or a skinny fat person that made that stupid comment. i hate ignorant people. just to clarify lifting heavy weights has absolutely zero effect on how big you get. what and how you eat and what you supplement with is how you get big. goes along the same lines as people believing that muscle turns to fat blah blah blah. i thing nice caped off shoulders and good muscle tone is sexy. not to mention the nice built up shoulders makes you waist look tiny. trix got told she was in beast mode and it's all rake's fault haha

                              You so funny! This lady is a little short of my age and I used to be a little heavier than her. Poor thing lives on the Elliptical and has gained at least 12 pounds of fat this past year. While I lost 20, and gained about 8 muscle. I agree my arms and shoulders seem hefty for a woman but I know I am making headway in the right direction. You made my day gusto, I was a little discouraged cause I am down to 3 days of training for the last 2 weeks wondering what will happen during my bulking cycle.
