    Re: Hy-Maints 2014 Log

Hmmm...now where did I leave off...

4/25: Squats/Deads (it was that kinda day)
    Squats: 145x5, 155x5, 165x5, 175x5, 165x5
    Deads: 135 wu, 185x5, 205x5, 225x5, 225x5
    cardio: 20 mins
It was a tough day for me yesterday mentally and I didn't feel strong at the gym so I lifted till I was tired and then did cardio. I stil got a full hour in so I was happy.

    4/26 Tri/bi
    Close grip: 95x10 2 sets, 105x8 2 sets
bar curls: 45x15, 65x10 4 sets no pain in arms today
    skull crushers: 55x10, 65x8 2 sets, 55x10
    hammers: 30/25x8/2, 30/25x7/3, 30/25x6/4 2 sets
v bar: 65x15, 65x12, 65x10 2 sets I popped my lat on these before and it felt funny today. I might lay off these for a bit. I'm gettin freaked out
conc curls: 25x8 3 sets I was exhausted by this time

Good workout today. I felt much better than last night. Next week I think I will work on lower weights and body weight stuff...pulls ups, chin ups, dips, walking lunges...stuff like that.

Tomorrow is the 1 week anniversary of my life-implosion. I plan on spending it at Tybee Island laying on the beach and watching them release the turtles. Making new memories Oh, and I will be driving there in my fawking Jeep. I'm not hating it so much anymore actually. I keep taking more and more of the top off- lol. Eventually I will go completely topless. I do hate that its automatic though *eyeroll* I wanted stick, but the princess had to have an automatic- and non aggressive tires *another major eyeroll* So, if I do hit the gym it will be for nothing more than a little cardio. And then the week starts all over again.

Its funny but I have found if I don't stretch, don't do any yoga, no rolling, and no running my hamstring feels fine. I can do legs, deadlift and squat with no pain.

    4/23 leg night

    seated press: 90x40 4 sets
calves in press: 270x50 5 sets
    prone hammies: 30x15 4 sets
    leg ext: 90x15, 70/90x10/5, 70/90x10/5, 70x15, 60x12
    cardio 15 mins

I got into the gym late last night and had to hustle. My legs were jelly by the time I left though. The seated press just tears em up! My hammies are feeling a bit stronger so I'm happy about this.

Personally, I have a interview tonight after work. It's amazing how many construction companies are down here, and how many need good accountants. Lucky for me I guess. I am going to have to leave a job I like to chase the money. I didn't want to do that when I moved here, but this is now the path that has been laid out before me so I will follow it and see where it goes

Tonight is chest night. I don't expect big #'s bc my cycle has been interrupted, but I will push as much weight as I can....and you know this!

great thing about the south you just figured out. people from different areas think that southerners are ignorant inbred backwoods idiots but the truth of the matter is that they take care of their own. even if they dont know that person. people will give you their last piece of food, the last dollar in their pocket or the shirt off the back if they think you need it.

now get that leg workout in lady

I have to say I am impressed with my new home- Georgia. I am a Northerner. I'm used to when you tell someone something sh*tty about your life they say "oh that sucks" and you move on. Well, down here you tell someone and they say "how can I help you." Its a totally different feeling. The outpouring of support for me and my situation has been nothing short of jaw dropping. My boss called her attorney about the Jeep issue, who in turn called the dealership on my behalf. After going back and forth the dealership (who also felt for my situation) decided to take the Jeep back, minus my down payment, and scrub the deal. I am dropping the Jeep off at the dealership tomorrow. I was fully prepared to suck up a voluntary repossession on my credit. The dealership knows my score and didn't want to see that happen. Crazy right??

Even Verizon is gonna suspend the additional phone line for 6 months so I won't have to pay the early term fee right now!! Since I was on a roll...I then decided to take control over my own supplement intake. I found a new source, figured out what I need to purchase, and researched how much to run. Easy peasy. I also got a free tan at the gym tonight bc Joe was feeling for my situation and called the free tan a "random act of kindness"

I laid in bed Sunday night and looked at the mess that was before me. The broken dreams, my broken heart, my shattered life and I thought about getting his gun out of the drawer and just giving up. Today I am glad to say I didn't. I'm far from healed. I will be forever scarred by this, but I know my worth even if he doesn't. I still have a long way to go to pay off all the credit card debt that was incurred...and I still need a part-time job to make ends meet, but I am unbreakable....and pretty fawking amazing. Fawk that little man.

And, now I am done talking about this for good!

4/22 was gonna do tri/bi but I did back instead
    low row: 150x10, 160x10, 170x8 3 sets
wide grip pull downs: 110x10, 125x6 4 sets
    seated row: 90x15, 90x13, 90x12 2 sets (i thought I had it on 70-lol)
    shrugs: 200x20 4 sets
    Cable lat pulls: 65x15, 75x15 2 sets
    no cardio
    free tan!

tomorrow is legs. Not Guns' leg routine though!! I can't do that kind of volume yet!!

I had a friend tell me to find what makes me happy and to reach for that in the midst of all this turmoil. I have reconnected with the gym and am concentrating all my efforts on that thanks MS

    upright rows: 65x10, 85x6, 75x10 2 sets
    face pulls: 70x15, 80x10 3 sets

good workout. Strength is going up. I will have to search around to see if I can keep that going. gonna have to learn to stick my own ass- lol. tonight will be tri/bi and then legs tomorrow. not sure. Its busy in the gym at 7:30 at night. I will have to see what equipment is available. I really need to squat and dl, but I think i will try to hold off until Friday night or the weekend.
