absolutely man, it is almost identical and doesnt actually taste bad at all. i just go with the tabs because it is cheaper and my wife uses them as well. i have to go with cost effectiveness but if it fit my budget i would be all over this myself. i prefer powder just like you do. most of the individual supps i use are all powder form and i like them much better too

i dont follow the bottle directions man. i like to spread mine out over three doses as opposed to 2. i take it first thing in the am, mid day and again before bed. this i have found works best for me personally. this is one of the only products that i have used pretty much non stop for years and i fully stand behind how well it works
I've been all over the place with my multi vitamin as well. I find one I like, then after researching I find another one I think is better. Gonna give the Orange Triad a try. Hopefully this will become my go-to multi.
I tried the gaba for sleep aid and had to stop that left me felling dizzy the next day so I tried lowering the dose and still felt the same way so I pitch that stuff in the trash.. the v root has worked as a sleep air so I will stick with that..

i do 1500mg apbt. i take mine right before i eat my last meal of the day and then go to bed about 30 mins or so after i eat. only issue i get with gaba is the flushing and a little bit of a tight chest feeling. that is almost completely gone by the time i go to bed. i read it has something to do with congestion or something like that but i cant remember. the flushing makes me crazy though. i have never had an issue with dizziness or anything like that the day of or the day after. i am going to have to go back and re read though the info i have on the stuff. it is supposed to cause great rems sleep and a small release of gh. i wonder if that could be causing it. idk, man dont toss it out just yet. maybe drop the dose to 2-250 with the final meal and see if that helps man. it is so good for you your brain and rest. it would suck not to be able to use it

Gamma Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) is an amino acid that is actually classified as a neurotransmitter. It functions like a natural tranquilizer by taking up residence in the nerve receptor sites in the brain which are normally reserved for stress and anxiety. In this respect it is highly regarded and frequently used in the treatment of panic/anxiety attacks and as a sleep enhancer. However, this remarkable substance has so much more to offer than just assisting you in obtaining a good night's sleep. Here are just a few of the benefits to be gained from the regular use of this supplement:

So in the case of GABA more is not better. It is also wise to slowly build up to high doses - a good place to start would be around 2000mg - in order to determine individual tolerance levels. This is advisable because some individuals may experience a tingling sensation reminiscent of a ‘niacin flush' and a slight shortness of breath on initially experimenting with GABA. This is not harmful and usually subsides once the body becomes accustomed to its use, however some people may find it uncomfortable.
ADDING GABA TO YOUR SUPPLEMENT REGIME
The most beneficial time to take GABA is 30-45 minutes before bedtime. This takes advantage of your body's natural release of growth hormone which occurs approximately 90 minutes after you fall asleep. It also correlates well with GABA's slight sedative effects. It has been suggested that taking an extra dose of GABA during the early morning hours would generate another spike in growth hormone levels. I wont pitch it yet.. the first day I took it I took 1000mg and it really didn't knock me out but felt different the next day so the next day I took 1500mg's and it help knock me out alittle better but felt dizzy all the next day and even when I was driving home.. I remember I felt like this when I took something else that was suppose to help with sleep and that was somatomax and after a few days of taking that before bed it made me feel funny like dizzy.
what I might do is take 500mg for a few days and see how that does and maybe ramp it up from there..i see there is more then sleep benfits to the stuff so id like to use it
