  • Re: Rebuilding the beast

Had one of those sleepless insomnia nights I have sometimes and my joints are killing me from working on my house last evening.

I'm gonna take a rest day, try to experiment with a no carb day or as close as I can to that with my blood sugar prob. May do abs and little cardio later to keep blood moving around.

damn animal that is some beast numbers right there man. i bet you could have hit that 495 for 10 and 8 if you wanted to. if i were an actual betting man you were saving up for the next rounds lol. those are some seriously killer numbers and legs motivate the shit out of me. how much you bench press? who gives a shit, how much and how many can you squat and deadlift? that's the true test of strength.

i saw to younger guys in the gym training legs today. normally just like your numbers motivating for me but: kid loads on 365 wraps his knees rolls his shorts legs up does almost a para single screams racks it and then starts posing his small legs. this goes on up to 500lbs all singles all not even para reps. smh at this point and trying to ignore it so i dont get aggervated. nope they drop the weight down to 315 and start super setting maxed out partial reps on the leg press with singles with the 315. not one single full range of motion rep on either but by god they were showing off their legs and raising some serious hell. prob went back to the barracks or out to the bar tonight to tell how strong and hard core their leg day was. sorry for the rant but it popped into my mind with your actual nice training session you had today. and that also brings to mind the oh i have small legs because they wont grow, yet i train them every week and as hard as i can. lmfao, wanna be posers

                  keep killing it animal

I don't have huge legs, i got real long legs makes them look smaller, but they are bigger than average gym goer for sure. I've leaned down alot this year, hopefully this winter I can keep from getting too much bf and make it show how strong I am.

Nothing serious really, kinda to it easy this week just kept the blood moveing. All the rain around here messing with my joints some but not too bad. Next week will be balls to the wall again.

I'm eating all the time to stay strong and I keep loseing weight. I was 239 and around 10%bf this morning. I dont compete so I dont know if I really need to lose anymore weight.

Animal, I loved hearing about and seeing your leg work out. You are doing great! I see guys every day who NEVER work their legs. It takes a lot for tall guys to work legs. I love the way it kills Rake and barely does any damage to me. I get sore but it really kills you guys with long legs. Keep at it you will be happy with the progress. I know you are not as top heavy as you think.
