Tricia I have had a chance to get in here and see your progress. Do you know what your calorie intake is approximately? I can sorta of figure by looking at your eating? You like spinach? I know you follow guns lead on nutrition by I am thinking more iron in your diet? Just a though as we women usually need more and the greens will give you so much. Just a thought but as usual you look like you are kicking ass

Thanks BABY1, I have been eating at work for the last few months so it has been hard to track calories. I would guess that I have 2 days at 2400cal, 2 at 1200, 2 at 1600, 2 at 2000. I do have to take 2 iron supps a day. Now that I'm back at home cooking spinach will be an almost daily addition. ~Trixie~

Iron is best when gotten through food so its good that you will be able to eat more iron rich foods. The majority of iron supps out there aren't all they are cracked up to be. We used to have a doctor that came on here and she was helping me with getting more iron.. She has told me of the iron that she prescribes her patients and also advised to not bother with iron supps. I was able to get my iron levels higher by eating more iron rich foods. I hope those quads feel better soon and I am thinking it is more than training. not anything bad but just maybe some deficiencies, imo. Do you like red meat?
You are, we all are, blessed to have such knowledgeable people here is areas of training supps and nutrition. It is still a bit different with us ladies though, and especially us older babes

I have been eating steaks at least 3x a week and yes I love them but right now I want to lose some fat so I look good on my wedding anniversary Aug. 17th. The iron supps have helped with the terrible bruising I was having a few moths ago. I will get in a lot of great foods starting Sept. 1st. when Rake starts bulking. Gonna ask guns for a new diet program that gets me losing the extra fat I have. Love you BABY1 and I feel blessed to be here. ~Trixie~
that's why you need to up the servings and find what you need for your recovery. it could be that you arent taking in enough intra or it could be you are doing to much as you suggest. i would try upping it like i suggested before and go from there

I love me some good Filet Mignon. You can get a steak that is more lean but they aren't as good. If it is the fat you are worried about in the red meat, remember it isn't fat that makes people fat. However, we always want to limit our saturated fat. When you did the challenge the first year, you hit the nail on the head with that and that is why you won
You are prepping "Sweet Pea" whole different place in time. Keep at it and you will be happy when you win that tiny trophy. Then about 5 days later when your brain starts working again you will be happy.

Thanks guns for your advice on the Intra-MD I feel great today and even was excited about going back for cardio. Took yesterday off completely and mostly cooked all day. Told Rake I want to train for a Tough Mudder and he laughed his head off then asked me if I realized that running was involved. Then we both laughed. I am having a great day and plan for it to last all week.
