I was at the gym doing Cardio when CNN broke the story it sadden and shocked me.
If he overdosed as now it's being reported what a fucking waste of a highly talented man.

I will always remember him with dave chapelle playing him in the skit with charlie murphy. prince thought it was hilarious! It made me respect a guy who does not take himself or his onstage persona so seriously. Fame, fortune, talent, but people forget they are still people. Faced with hardships just like the rest of us. I have read he faced some deep ones that I can relate to. His ex believed it was something he never was able to cope with. Who knows, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't coping with drugs to kill the pain. Yet, as an entertainer ,they still have to go out there and do there thing. many wear a mask ..he is in a better place

yeah i heard this on the radio on the way to work, something drug related of course. shame whats going on in this country with this dope sh8t and painkillers. these phamacutical companies are making BILLIONS off kids getting strung out on oxycodone or what ever other opiates they are producing. I bet more than 1/3 of the pills they produce are eventually sold on the street illigally(if not more) and i bet 75% of the ppl presribed them dont even need to be on them. My boy got PTSD from iraq and the veterans hospital presribes him percocet and methodone along with a spread of other drugs. like thats there manditory treatment proticol for PTSD. Just keep em drugged up and high and addicted so they dont think about the sh8t they been thru.
