Helped my pops in law clear some of his back pasture. I am ate up with those little chigger devils. Why do they attack a fellas taint so viciously? Yeah I have the taint itch.... as well as around the band of my underwear, socks and behind my knees. He told me to wet some snuff and use a band-aide to press it over the chigger bump. I will use 2 cans of snuff for that and 50 bandages.

surely there are better ways than this?

got any home remedies to help stop the incessant itching?

fuck that noise man, i got into a patrol base one time and got covered from head to freaking toe. it was so bad i couldnt even freaking sleep. only 3 things that work for those miserable little bastards. 1- cover the spots in clear finger nail polish to smoother them 2-get into the ocean for a while or 3- a product called chig away. the clear finger nail polish sucks but it works very very well. i will tell you this and no one made fun of me after my incident. i shaved off all of my body hair which helped a little but i wore black panty hose that come up to your waste under my uniform from that point on. i dont care how stupid or gay it looks those little bastards will make you miserable. deet spray on your clothing helps pretty good also but if you sweat really bad or have to get in the water it gets washed off

MM is that prescription? i have seen 1% HC cream but not 5%.

my legs look like I am a leper. normally i rub my legs with hand sanitizer but I forgot. If you do this quickly before they have a chance to embed it kills em.

i took a bleach bath last night. bleach is supposed to kill them too. will look for chig away. put nail polish on the bastards. its purple but i don;t care. i am going to be sparring this morning with purple spots on my legs.

that sucks bro.. I have never had chiggers but get poison ivy very bad Hydrocortisone works well on that.. I also got some bug killer in a cream from the dr last time bc she thought it was chiggers..that was a rx...

I've never had the misfortune of getting chigger bites but if I'm messing around in the woods I grab a few flea & tick collars and put them around my wrists and ankles as a preventative measure. Don't know if that may help as a future reference or not.

Damn man those things suck. When I was a guide in Nebraska I had to go hang tree 20 tree stands in the CRP grass areas. Needless to say I was covered, it was horrible.

I called my doc i asked if they could call me some in as it was just before they closed. they prescribed me "elocon cream" stuff is like magic.

i took a bleach and mouth wash bath. so i smelled like............well minty bleach. but it killed the little bastards.

Hmm chiggers? I dont think ive ever really dealt with those before. I grew up being outdoors and in the woods too. Is that the same thing you get when you roll around in the grass, you start itching?
