Watching my little girl at her Christmas concert tonight. She sang "must Be Santa" with her preschool class. Very cool. What made it even better was her big brother who's 15 delayed his plans to watch her sing. He's a tough guy (they all are at that age) but melts when it comes to her. Pretty cool.

For being able to spend the day with just my Dad!!! We are going downtown to the Kris Kindle Market. was going to arrange it so my 3 siblings could join us but I decided I wanted my Dad to myself .

Even though I tend to complain about Christmas and decorations, we put our tree up tonight and decorated it. Everyone helped and we listened to Christmas music and ate popcorn. (Well, they ate popcorn) very blessed that from the 4 to the 15 year old were together having fun enjoying the night. I know that won't last forever so I'm glad I got to step back and take it in.

After I enjoyed the nice moment I got to chase our new damn kitten away from the tree and pull the little a$$ out of the middle as it tried to pretend it was a squirrel. Trust me the night was much more like this than my statement above. It's all perspective

The family and I went to cut down a Christmas tree yesterday. I am grateful I live in the part of the US where the woods is 20 minutes away, the city 5, he bluffs are out my window, its hot as hell in the summer and it snows in the winter.
