To quote the famous Erma Bombeck, "The grass is always greener over the septic tank."

These days, everyone hugs everyone. So we all had a hug fest and one of them (my wife's Kung Fu instructor) made a very aggressive stance and said "you gotsta live the hug life, bro!" Now we all go about hugging each other and then stepping back and posing an aggressive 'marine about to go into combat' stance and saying "hug life, huah!!"

Well...actually it cost me a couple hundred dollars to be able to see anything in life. Yep, just got new glasses - without them all I see are blurry blobs...and two of each blob.

But I understand what you mean, and I agree. I love planting grass seed and watching the new baby grass start to poke out of the soil...bringing new life to an otherwise barren plot of soil.

Letting others know how much they mean to me. A few simple words in someones day can change a lot. I often times assume the people in my life know how much I care for them and I think they do know for the most part. I just know how good it feels when someone I care about leans over, looks at me and says "I love you."
