I am grateful for leg day. I love it even more now that I saw a classic "skip leg day" example at the gym...I should have snapped a pic. The guy was huge..his chest massive and his lats were super impressive. His arms were almost as large as my legs. Then, thinking about legs, I looked down at his and cringed. My FOREARMS are as large as his legs!! I also gasped out loud in shock and horror...but managed to not. Still, it took me a few moments to tear my eyes away - much like the horror of seeing someone hit by a train. You do not want to keep looking but you cannot stop yourself.

For an Orthodox Rabbi friend of mine who sends me "Thoughts of the Week" every Friday. Says to meditate on them during Shabbat. He knows I am of the Goyim, but that is the wonderful thing about Judaism - they do not expect non-Jews to follow their rules as God was very clear about saying these rules were to set Israel apart from the other nations. But Judaism has thousands of years of collected wisdom at its disposal, all studiously recorded by the Rabbis throughout time. This week's though is:

I'm thankful for my mother who came to visit me for 4 months to help take care of me .. I'm also thankful for my 20 yr old daughter who has also sacrificed alot to take care of me. I'm very blessed to have both of them in my life.

I am grateful for a truly epic end to a super long D&D Campaign. The fate of the world hung in the balance and fate was used to decide the outcome...all based on a single die roll that went in the characters' favor. Story wrap up, created by yours truly, brought everyone to their happiest desired outcome and we all ended the night laughing and full of joy. That is what it is all about, creating joyous memories with good friends.

My mother fell and broke a bone in her neck, c2 last night. Just found out she dosen't need surgery. Thankfully I.G.

Not needing surgery is HUGE! Wonderful News!

It is amazing how many body builders are recovering alcoholics. 9 years sober for me.
