Waking up with an open mind and an open heart. That's really not the norm for me and a lot of the reason I post so much in this thread. I find myself being very pessimistic and negative at times. For some damn reason no matter how good things are going, I am always trying to find something bad about the situation. When my heart is full of gratitude it's hard for it to be filled with hate, jealousy and self will.

Im grateful that I wake up every morning .... To see my family, to hit the weights, and hopefully retire healthy and happy. Life is good, fellas....
Sure there are things I wish i did different, but thats in my rear view mirror now. I appreciate every breath I take and I dont put off tomorrow for what I can do today.
Theres others out there around this globe that has it far worse

Just being happy today. My kids and wife are healthy, my wife and I have jobs that pay the bills, and my family knows how much I love them. I live a pretty simple life in a smaller city and most of the drama in my life is self imposed. Very grateful.

Today my daughter got me up extra early so she could make the 'fitness class" at school. She was determined to beat the boys in whatever they had to do, lol. My girls have been my greatest teachers
