I used to claim Christianity too, but I'm not sure that the Jewish folks aren't correct.

It just doesn't make sense that a man died for all of our sins, and all a man that rapes and kills a child has to do is ask for forgiveness, and he's just as well as the devout preacher?? That's just not logical. And I better not find him in my heaven. As a matter of fact, there is that child's father. How are they gonna keep those 2 apart?

Personally, aas is NOT a sin. as far as the body being the temple of the holy spirit, well, I just ate an almond joy that wasnt good for my temple but I doubt that god is going to chastise me for it. Is taking pain meds over a month or two, destroying your liver and kidneys and brain less harmful than aas? I have some good Christian friend s who are addicted to Percocet. If you ever mentioned aas to them, they would totally go bananas. "Thats a sin against God!!!!"
Once again. AAS is not harmful to the "temple". I have blood work to back that up. Tylenol is more harmful. That almondjoy, as dzone mentioned, is more harmful. Steroids, for those that don't know, have been proven to make for a healthier body. Inside and out. period. 17aa...still healthy stuff. Healthier than Crestor for cholesterol. Healthier than many many prescription drugs.

LOL, you brought up a good point. How can heaven be heaven if everyone keeps their free will and for that matter how can it be eternal. Just because Christians are dead means they are going to get along with everyone? Lucifer showed free will and was cast to the lake of fire from a spiritual existence. So either god limits free will in heaven or it's not eternal. Christians are going to have to submit to a tyrannical god's whims for eternity.

While the Christian child rapists and the two faced pastors are in heaven worshiping their merciful god.
I'll be in hell with Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein and Steven Hawking. Yeah, that makes sense.

well let me try and break it down as best I can-

Catholics ---worship the Virgin Marry- but she is not a deity(sp), but rather just a person like you and I. They also don't allow the Preist to marry-when the Bible says Multiply and Prosper- don't you think its a little odd that you would want the people leading your church to reproduce ???

Baptist(Southern)--- Don't believe in drinking at all. Actually down here they have "Dry" Counties that don't sell alcohol except in private clubs/restraunts, but 1st Timothy 3 clearly states (other than the head of the church) can drink, but in moderation(as not to become drunk)

Penticastols--- Woman don't cut their hair- please show me that in the bible...

Now those are man made restiction put on people in a per say "Religion"

Christians- follow the bible as written- nothing more nothing less. The Bible talks about speaking in tongues. The Bible speaks of the laying on of hands to heal the sick. The Bible speaks of being Born Again(praying the sinners prayer).

I cut my hair- I don't worship Marry- I do consume a drink here and there(not in public). My Pastor is married with kids.

I could go on and on, but I think I make my point. I don't look down nor turn my nose up at anyone making an effort to serve the Lord- better something than nothing. But just sit back and take a good hard look at the world today- they are taking the Ten Commandments out of your couthouses- your kids can't pray in school- some stores don't even acknowledge Christmas- and the list goes on- you think the Devil isn't trying to rule the earth. You have a Muslim President of the United States of America that was founded on the Christian Beliefs - Please all I ask is open your eyes

                    Re: CHRISTIANS

here is the passage you posted and I think its taken out of context. It speak of covering and shaven .

                    1 Corinthians 11 (Amplified Bible)

                    1 Corinthians 11
1PATTERN YOURSELVES after me [follow my example], as I imitate and follow Christ (the Messiah).
2I appreciate and commend you because you always remember me in everything and keep firm possession of the traditions (the substance of my instructions), just as I have [verbally] passed them on to you.

3But I want you to know and realize that Christ is the Head of every man, the head of a woman is her husband, and the Head of Christ is God.

4Any man who prays or prophesies (teaches, refutes, reproves, admonishes, and comforts) with his head covered dishonors his Head (Christ).

5And any woman who [publicly] prays or prophesies (teaches, refutes, reproves, admonishes, or comforts) when she is bareheaded dishonors her head (her husband); it is the same as [if her head were] shaved.

6For if a woman will not wear [a head] covering, then she should cut off her hair too; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her head shorn or shaven, let her cover [her head].

7For a man ought not to wear anything on his head [in church], for he is the image and [reflected] glory of God [[a]his function of government reflects the majesty of the divine Rule]; but woman is [the expression of] man's glory (majesty, preeminence).(A)

8For man was not [created] from woman, but woman from man;(B)

9Neither was man created on account of or for the benefit of woman, but woman on account of and for the benefit of man.(C)

10[b]Therefore she should [be subject to his authority and should] have a covering on her head [as a token, a symbol, of her submission to authority, [c]that she may show reverence as do] the angels [and not displease them].

This chapter is what a non-denominal preacher says means that a woman should not cut her hair. He says the cover is not literal like the Catholics think. How they cover their heads with scarves before they pray, but that it simply is speaking of the womans hair.

Looks like another good example of "who's correct?" to me. I think it means cover, in the literal sense, as you said deep. Why wouldn't he just say hair?

But, I've been to many churches, and heard each different interpretation. They can't all be right.

All I am saying is that anyone who says "Im a Christian" and goes to church, tries to be a good Christian is RELIGIOUS!

Religious isnt a dirty word. Lots of Christians act like it is. Why do so many Christians claim they are NOT religious, when they ARE? Whats wrong with being religious?

Ya know, if they really dug into religion. Like, television shows, documentaries, reality tv, they could have a hell of a good show. Some seriously whacky entertainment.

Do I have any investors? venture capitalists??? The turn around will make your headspin, man, puns all in this post, but really. That's entertainment. Just take a look at the attention this little ole thread has drawn.
P.M. me for details. I'll take care of everything. You just enjoy the recoil. And who knows? we might just find some answers.
