(on this subject....not on the auto subject, lol) so...the kids going to hell? that's what your saying? it's just confussing bro...pl456 seems to be a pretty "christian" type guy. he asked one time, and i dont remeber anyone replying, if you follow the bible and your a christian how do you do the aas thing? (he put it differently....asked how you do drugs or something, but you get the point). he indicated that, that would go against god's body/temple program....do you interpet the bible as haveing a different meaning in this regard? you told me you took the bible for what it meant, but whats gods take on injecting yourself with steroids?

LOL...well, it was a different life for me back then. I still run into my old pals from those days and when they see Im not like that anymore, they accuse satan of deceiving me and that I need to get back to how I was. LOL...I had a frie3nd named paul in college who I "led to the Lord"...I still see him in downtown denver from time to time and he is out witnessing to peoople and he sees me and yells :"Theres the man that led me to Jesus!!"

sad that some of my old pals think Ive backslidden. Hahaha...In fact, I am a much more spiritually evolved person now. I definitely dont accept anything on blind faith. There are some questions I had as a fundmaentalist Christian that I now accept as having NO answer. At least in this lifetime.When I talk to Christians, I ask them "How do you know?"..100% of the time, they say "Its in the bible"...In those days, I spent a lot of my time "trying' to defend the Bible as the Undeniable and actual WORD OF GOD.

yea...thats my thing. i read it. i believe in the overall point of the book, the overall message. but i cant take it word for word. it's basicly a guide to how god would like you to live...not so much a rule book. i really dont believe in any organized "religion". thats why i joke about the church of dave, but thats actually what it is...its MY interpitation in how god would like you to live...believe in him....dont believe in him, it dont matter. if you live your life with morales and integraty, i dont think he cares. your specific belief in him was/is never the point. (we mortals think so high of ourselves we think he cares about what we belive!!!!, lol) the point is dont be a dic!...you'll believe when the day comes and your standing before him and he's like "ta-da!". and, your saying to yourself, "huh....guess i was wrong on that one. good thing my man dont hold a grudge"....thats my belief. thats how i'm gonna get klash all hooked up! he's gonna have nose bleed seats, but he'll be at the party

That's pretty much it. The maker/makers whatever, do not give a shyt about cussing, watching television, looking at pretty women, whatever all that petty stuff that so many Chrisitans put on him. He just cares about the big picture. How you take him, or if you take him rather. And what's in your heart, and how or even if you display it. It's really simple. And nobody on this planet knows for sure what happens. We do know that part of us, a very tiny part, but the most important part of us, does continue. I think we just keep cycleing (not juice)lol, but lives. We're ever growing spiritually. That's the reason.

And yes, of course Klash will be there too, but he's gonna definitely be in the nose bleeds. or actually, probably in the front row,lol.

nah, I believe we really are in spiritual groups. so you really do have "soul mates". I believe that you choose your life. Of course there will always be hardships to overcome. That's part of the spiritual growth. You get to see little flashes, glimpses, like previews, of different life courses before you choose your next one with your spiritual guides, or "guardian angels" as their nicknamed. That's what I think a deja vu is. It's actually a point in your life in which you just went thru one of the "previews" of your life.

remember one youth rally/revival I went to at this baptist church. I remember vividly this preacher telling us how hard it was for him to break all his rock and roll records because they were of the devil. Specifically, he said he loved neil diamond music and just how painful it was for him to smash into pieces his entire neil diamond collection.lmao...True story, I couldnt make that kinda shit up..lol

Just for the record- David and the rest- I have nothing but the up-most respect for each and everyone of you. You don't offend nor bother me one bit. I do steroids and I'm sure its not pleasing, but thats just an area I probably need work in- I still cuss when I get truely pissed and I have (not in the last couple of years) layed hands, so to speak, on some people for disrespecting my wife- so believe me- I have issues and areas of my life that are a constant battle and need improvement. Jesus was the only sinless person to work on the face of this earth- I just strive to be more like him and have the morals and values of a Christ like person so I set a good example for my kids and hopefully lead someone else to know Gods Love. And yes I do have a couple of drinks from time to time, but I don't get drunk and 1st Timothy 3 covers that if you care to look it up-LOL . Not get back to discussing

I used to say "Im not religious, Im Christian. All other religions are religious except Christianity, its not religion."...I am not saying this out of disrespect for you Deep, but it doesnt make sense anymore when people say that. I know the reason for saying that is that Christianity is a relatiosnship with God, not a religion. Is this maybe a little, umm, how do I say..? Now, to me, Christianity is every bit a religion as any other religion. Is Mormanism a religion? Is Jehovahs witnesses a religion? Is catholic a religion? Are baptists religious? "Im not religious, Im Christian" I just dont get that one anymore, but I do remember how much I loved saying that to people.

Was it...damn, I can't remember his name, but there was some major uproar about Harry Potter. I like seeing the little 7yr old kids having to explain to the pissed off Christians that they understand that it's only a movie. That magic and pixie dust isn't real.

as for aas, well, ask ronnie coleman, who used to praise Jesus after every Olympia victory.
Personally, aas is NOT a sin. as far as the body being the temple of the holy spirit, well, I just ate an almond joy that wasnt good for my temple but I doubt that god is going to chastise me for it. Is taking pain meds over a month or two, destroying your liver and kidneys and brain less harmful than aas? I have some good Christian friend s who are addicted to Percocet. If you ever mentioned aas to them, they would totally go bananas. "Thats a sin against God!!!!"
