I don't subscribe to any of those magazines...
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

i believe religion can be agood thing if it helps people to do right. the fear of god or whatever you wanna call it. unfortunately most of the self proclaimed religious people i know are hypocrites.

I go once in a while. I'm Catholic, so it's supposed to be a sin if I miss church. I think that where you practice your beliefs is less important than how you practice them. I think I practice my faith everyday by the way I treat others around me.
So be sure that you are makin the best of what that you have

          Bustinout,

          Great point and agree.

Church, is a meeting place for people of similar and shared belief systems.

In that respect FitnessGeared could be considered a church.

IMHO, there is nothing bad with people expressing their innermost feelings and desires in a positive atmosphere. In fact it is all good.

Wherever I stand I feel as if I am in church. The church of humanity, of which I am a member in hmmmmm, pretty good standing on most days.

I feel bad for people who can't see god in there surroundings. There is no way I can look out me window and not see that there is a higher power. I do not pretend to have all the answers, but I can still see where there is truth.

No particular religion such as baptist or catholic. It is come as you are and worship god . There is no politics. It really takes alot of the hypocracy out of religion when it is undestood that every one is sinners no matter if the go to curch or no one is perfect. If you dont go to church often you are not looked down on when you are there, everyone is glad to see you and welcomes you with open arms.

It is the closest thing I have found. Resored my faith in the church.I believe you do not have to be at church every to belive in god and they respect that.

I agree with Speedracer59. I was raised in a nondenominational church. I am a christian, and I make it to church maybe once a month. Its a shame to me how much people place into organized religion. To me its about my relationship with God. I'm not here to judge others. The best I can do is take care of myself and set an example, if someone else in my life catches on, great. I still struggle with certain issues (of morality and belief) but I'm human. Just like everyone else. I hate those die hard hypocrites also, who give all of us christians a bad name.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. - Teddy Roosevelt
