or synogauge, or mosque or temple?...whatever the case may be...my parents made me go just about every sunday till i reached 12, and then they said it was my choice to continue going or not...i'm now 24 and haven't been back since...so are any of you religious or are you all goin to hell?

I don't goto church and according to some religions why do you need to goto church to pray if your god is everywhere!?
Religion is just a way for us mortals to deal with death, we feel the need to have a place to go when we die. Which I don't buy into.

Religions are just old stories that have been past down from generation to generation and are still around to bother the shit out of us!! I can't believe intelligent thinking people still buy into that. It makes no sense in a world where most things can be proven scientifically.

Ask a Christian what happened to Native Americans (or any ethnicity for that matter) who died before hearing "the word of God".....they'll tell you that they went to Hell. Religion has totally lost it's meaning to me.....Comment

no offense here, but you all are using the word religion very loosely here. Anything that you are committed to and dedicate your time to, could be considered your religion. Is it still a scapegoat then...or only if you don't believe in it?Comment
