I never used the crate method but I know it to work, it helps then self sooth I think. Having my dogs from 7 to 8 weeks allowed me to get a jump on training. Find a treat she really likes and you can train her to listen and be a good dog. Pitbulls are like toddlers, they take more work than the average breed to raise. They will test your patients but you will have the best dog if you invest the time in training
Yep, for a long period of time these dogs were bread to be animal aggressive for fighting and hunting purpose and some blood lines are just prone to be go getters. I had a game dog from sorrell blood line and he was super animal aggressive but only towards other Male dogs, never smaller dogs or females UNLESS they acted aggressively toward him then the flip would switch and he would start shaking he wanted to get to them so bad. And once he had a run in or cross eye with another dog he always went after them after that. I kept a VERY close eye on him, he never left 5 foot from my body outside our fence and was harnessed not collared because he would choke himself to death with a collar...psycho freak lol
my first pit was a inbred ross red devil female she was 100mph and hell on wheels. she would wake me up at 3am with s squeaky toy. she would jump on me in the bed at 3am squeaking that toy.. you knock her off the bed she would jump back on it shaking it and ready to go again she was a trip never a dull moment. the male i had was a red devil/red boy cross he was laid back almost jumped out the window of my truck to go after another dog.. you never left your guard down with them

i was thinking the exact same thing. that little guy is looking like he is thinking when i get out of here i am going to tear some shit up big time haha. either that or i didnt do whatever you think i did haha

Haha lmao you said it man! That’s exactly what that look is saying and it goes for a lot of dogs especially my Great Danes(rip).
They Named her PICKLES at the rescue but that name met with mixed reviews. She answeres to Honey, Pickles and Smiley. We are probably going to name her Smiley. I got a dog named Happy and Smiley and Happy is pretty damn funny. Jack Lalanne had two white german shepherds, Smiley and Happy. So Im probably going with Smiley

My first dog's name was Smiley. Shepard collie mix. and she was the best dog. Happy Smiley, you cant go wrong there
She's been amazing. She is getting totally socialized around hundreds of people. I think she will be the perfect dog for this job of meeting the public everyday. I am a little worried about people who naturally fear the sight of a pitbull. Hopefully I can dispell some myths with the public. My dogs meet literally thousands of people a year.

You most certainly WILL dispell myths. Most people that fear or loath pitbulls have never been around one OR they have only had experience with someone's mishandled dog. Be an ambassador, socialize her educate people about their history good and bad and show them the deed should be punished, not an entire breed.
