Cute dog, looks super happy. Humans do not deserve dogs but I'm so glad we have them my dogs are my world, don't think id have made it as far as i have it it wasn't for them.

Im terrible with names. I literally named my dog "charlie the chocolate lab" because well she's a chocolate lab and also because of that ouch charlie bit my finger video was stuck in my head lol. but we obviously just call her charli.

I dot get the whole pitfall killer thing.
Ive had one pit try to eat me and i was in HIS house.

Every dog that that has or has tried to attack me was not a pit. Believe it or not the most aggressive dog i ever encountered so far in terms of how many times I've met one thats tried to eat me was that large poodle bread.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

Punishing the breed is denial of the bigger picture, many people should not own ANY dog. Being a responsible owner is a huge part of owning a working dog breed. I always kept a pad lock on my privacy fence and my dogs never left the yard without a harness/leash on them. When I walked one of my dogs that was animal aggressive, if someone walked my direction with another dog, I would steer clear or turn around, and often warn them from a distance my dog was animal aggressive and please not to bring their dog near mine. You would be shocked how many people would respond "my dogs not" and come towards me...wtf?? I've literally had to yell at people "do not come near my dog with your dog, my dog will kill yours!" And the ding-bats still come near....often they owned a dog much bigger than mine and I guess the thinking was their dog being bigger, that my dog wouldn't be a problem..
Not all pits are animal aggressive but some just have it in their Genes to be that way. Socializing them helps reduce this but being a responsible owner is the most important part. Pits are such wonderful pets, but their working dogs and need their exercise and attention or they will tear your house to shreds lol..jk kinda sorta

such a great point.. very true words.. my first red nose female i posted pictures of her on here in the drier i had to lock all of the doors in the house if you didnt want her opening them. she could open the slider even if it was locked so had to pin that one. all of the other doors you had to lock or she would open them. friends would come over and see the key next to the garage door on my tool box and ask what that was about i told them i had to lock myself outside if i didnt want her coming outside..

like blueedge said she didnt like other dogs didnt matter male or female and you would tell people this and they would let there dog come right up to her so now i am pulling her back by the leash then have to speak up and say hey dumb ass did you not hear me? your dog gets close to here she will jump on them and she was sneaky she would get cranked up or raise hell she would keep quiet and once they got close she was on them i could see the look in her eyes and know what was coming...

one of my biggest issues with pits is not everyone should own them let alone own a dog they are a life long commitment and pits have very high prey drive and need to kept busy or they will get into trouble...

She is way better than I ever expected. She is so calm. She rides in my truck and just curls up in the front seat and sleeps while my other dogs are sticking their heads out the window and all hyped up. I left her alone in myoffice on friday for an hour and she didnt move from her dog bed, slept the whole time. Im amazed. The rescue said they never had a puppy before that was so calm. I hope she stays that way. Her temperament makes her so easy to deal with.

Is she a red nose pit? I dont know that much about pits. Someone else said she is a red nose and I looked it up and it says they sell for thousand$ of dollars. If thats true, then this is crazy. I got this puppy for a $200 adoption fee

I like Gemma. It looks like the name Pickles is sticking so far. She answers to Pickles, but we call her Honey too.

Quick lesson on pitbull bloodlines and color. A red nose dog only is a description of its color and nose. It is not a blood line. Bloodlines generally establish the high price of a dog. Generally because the dogs in a bloodline have been shown, fought or competed in weight pulls and come with a high pedigree registered with AKC, UKC and ADBA. The quality and price of dogs follow that order, akc most valuable and reputable, UKC 2nd, adba 3rd. As far as color alone making a dog valuable, the most valuable and rare color is yellow. Both mom and dad have to carry the yellow gene BUT that doesnt mean the 2 dogs will ever have a yellow pup. I live the red colored dogs, I once seen a red on red brindle that was amazingly beautiful, but color of nose and coat generally dont add value alone. A quality looking pit like u have is worth between 200-500$ generally so u made a good purchase and have a fine dog there.
