I never hang out that long at 225. I'm always pushing for 405 again (had hand surgery and am just getting back to lifting). I can get 225 or 12 or 14 easily enough though . . . maybe I oughta try it some day just for giggles.

Don't know right now, I just usually hit it for a few reps as I'm warmin up. At one time I did it for 20 but I haven't done many reps for quite some time so I know I'd be burnt before that.
In truth, I dont see the point for anyone thats not a professional lineman, lol. It certainly doesnt fall in line with any of the fundemental approaches to BBing or even PLing...
Seems like it would put a great deal of load on the shoulders during the later reps and that just tempts injury a little too much for my taste...

my best is 31, right onw however I am only around 27. My buddy can do it right at 50, give or take one or two reps depending if he has been training with reps. He is 265 though I am only 190

Exactly! Even if we dont look at the increased chance for injury just the extended soreness is an issue. It forces an interruption in training which can blow a schedule completely.
Personally I dont train when sore. Even a little. Soreness is my bodies way of telling me its not at 100%. Well, when I train I DEMAND 100% and it cant give it if it doesnt have it. In your case, i'd have had to take a WEEK OFF . . . not worth it man.
