Man, I was pumped and excited to get back into the gym Monday! My pull day went well on Monday but my push day today was frustrating. I am having a lot of trouble with my joints. I had mentioned this in another thread a couple of weeks ago. My hands, feet, and knees are mostly where I'm feeling the discomfort. My knees hurt to the point of making it very difficult to do any leg work. I wrapped my knees this morning as I was warming up on squats. They felt ok until I got to 135. [emoji35] Very frustrated, I tried a couple of other exercises with no luck. Went on to bench/shoulder work. That part went well! Finished up with ab work and cardio. I rode the bike for cardio hoping that would give my legs some work without bothering my knees.
Sorry you're having joint pain. I know it, I get it too sometimes; mostly when I'm dehydrated and lacking healthy fats in the diet (omegas, etc).
Don't let it get you down. Looks like you had a good vacay, get afterrr it!

great to see you back kat. couple of suggestions for you: 1-controlled labs orange triad. it's cheap and it works miracles. 2-check your fat intake accurately. if your healthy fat intake is too low it could be drying out your joints a bit and causing them to get angry at you 3- screaming hot toast cream and or artic balm on your joints. you may smell like an old person but it will keep the area warm and the blood flowing. 4- you may need some additional time off. those are the thoughts and suggestions that pop into my head for you

Welcome! Glad you're here! Thank you! It was the furthest we've ever gone and truthfully only the second one we've ever really taken other than a weekend trip! We are trying to make it a point to force vacations at least once a year because time is precious and disappears quickly!! You should take one- even if it's a day trip or a stay-cation!
We took a trip up north, a day trip. It was really nice. But I could use the beach... [emoji22]
Whoops, found it! Jealous of vacation, I need one badddd

Thank you for checking @ gums01. It has been a while. I am doing well. Just returned from a vacation in San Diego with my family. I also to this time off from training. I will get back to logging my training. Nutrition has been held about the same. Weight is slowly dropping! The vacation was much needed mentally and physically to just break away from being so busy all of the time! I am ready to get back in the gym Monday!!
breaks are always good to refresh and recharge. glad to have you back

Slept in this morning and went to the gym after work. Going after work always reminds me why I train in the early morning! There are waaaay too many people all over the place. There is also a trainer that has decided to start SHOUTING numbers as he counts for his clients. It's loud enough to be heard across the very large gym. Even through my ear buds blaring in my ears.
