Do you chug your protein shakes? I always always did this. I think probably because I grew up in a day and age where the protein shakes were so nasty!
A few years ago I developed a dairy allergy. I can still do whey as long as it's hydrolyzed isolate. Sometimes I still get stomach aches but over the last year or so I've learned to sip on my shake...basically dividing my shake into 3 parts. Right after training I chug a third...middle third is sipped slowly and the last third is usually a little faster consumption. I've found that taking my time with the shake avoids stomach issues almost completely.
