...When I go to this city, there is a spectacular view like this no matter where you are in the whole city. Reminded me of when I was living in Los Angeles and I would tell people they had the most perfect weather on earth and how amazing to have the beach just 20 minutes away..etc etc & people would say they dont even notice it or appreciate it and most people living there dont even go to the beach. Just think of all the beautiful stuff around us that most people fail to even look at. How many people drive down this street and dont see how amazing this view is? People are not living in the present and fail to see what is around them.

Thanks for sharing, Dzone. This is an amazing picture you have posted. Scenery like that brings a smile and tears in my eyes! This hits all the senses! It is sad that most do not appreciate small things and the beauty in the world. Seems like it is easier for most to be negative and complain? This takes me back to how I view 'distractions in our daily lives. There is true feeling of freedom when you can find beauty in something around you. "thank you"

I am guilty of never stopping to "smell the flowers" so It's cool when someone else points them out.

i would say pretty much like anything else, when you are always around something it kind of loses it's wow factor. i live by the beach myself and i am not a beach person at all. those mtns and landscape are pretty sweet though

I've actually thought about this quite a bit. I think about the people that live all the places I've visited for vacations. I was there thinking, "Wow, look at that!" and the whole time everyone that lived there just walked on by, It's pretty crazy how we get used to things and they slowly seem to disappear into the background, no matter how amazing they are. Reminds me to stop and take in the moment from time to time.

there is nothing worth looking at in my town............unless it is a sunset on the lake.............yeah I take that for granted.

Mountains after 15 years I see a few nice things,except the gas gauge on my,truck always going down and,all the tourist

I always make sure to admire the views when out and about.
