Allergies kicking my butt

What do you do when they get bad? mountain cedar is high right now and making me miserable.

zyrtec and or claritin
flonase
netti pot
alaway eye drops
tried homeopathic crap with no help

what do you do to help out?

Same here killed mine are so bad I have become a mouth breather and my right eye runs all day I have tried everything and nothing works

the only thing that really helps when my histamine is high is a medrol dosepak. Makes me feel fantabulous

flonaise has always worked best for mine. the new one they give you at the doc that's also like flonaise is also good. it has 6 or 7 different meds in it. if you are hurting really bad you can always go in and have them give you shots. it sucks but it works for some that have them really bad

When allergies get really bad the following...

A. Flonaise first thing in the morning

B. Singulair in the morning

C. Homeopathic antihistamine during day (doesnt make me drowsy)

D. Benadryl at night

E. Decongestant if I become congested

Limit or cut out dairy.

Increase hot drinks and avoid cold drinks.

Take shower or bath at night to rinse off pollen and wash bed sheets (again to get ride of pollen)

Yep allergies are hitting me as well. Not the worst it's ever been, but enough to make some of my days miserable.

I have been taking a claritin d for at least 3 years saved me. My allergies were so bad I would get sinus infections all the time got on the claritin d haven't had any type of congestion since

i got zyrtek it helps, flonase, nasacrom, benadryl, netipot, cingulair............too much crap for not enough relief.

I've never met anyone (or heard of anyone) that has allergies to as much or as bad as I have. Without going into detail about me....I would say

cetirizine (Zyrtec) is tops for otc and low sides

I personally take 2 in morning, mid day and at night.

I would start with 1 a day (10mg) if I was you and then go from there. But I am not a DR

not really. i like ice tea and I will drink hot green tea from time to time
