Well thank you everybody that really means a lot to me !!! I know who my real friends are. Well I turned fifty and man I sure don't feel like it, did I lose twenty years somewhere ? So I actually had a lil Birthday party thrown for me, instead of sitting alone with a twelve pack as usual. So for the first time since I was probally in highschool, a few of my friends got together and made it a nice day for me. My buddies wife made me a really nice cake and put together a lil barbeque, and my other Bro Don handed me a frosty jar of pear shine ! they even got me a card and wrote a bunch of cool stuff in it ! so we all sat around a little fire drinking a few cold ones, listening to some jams and roasting a couple while watching the sun set over the horizon,.. everybody else forgot or blew me off as usual,.. funny I allways seem to remember everyone else. Turning fifty kinda',.. worries me. I feel like this is the beginning to the end, trying to meet someone when your dating profile says 50, and now what ? I have ten years till I'm 60 ! I guess if I don't look or feel 50 I'm o.k. ? I just feel like there are going to be some dramatic things/changes to deal with ahead, like my folks passing soon and living the rest of my life alone with just memories like I do. Staying up in the woods for weeks partying, backpacking trips, prospecting, shooting clays, sloppy next day hangover sex. Or maby this is the calm before the storm of good times to come ? Yes, Baby1 being a Cancer is cool for the most part, but the emo part can suck a lot of times. Again, thank you all for the Birthday wishes I'm really heart felt. We're an awesome group of people here although we have never met ! God Bless us All !
