so old guns lives in a state that he isnt originally from. well i spent a number of years in this state while serving and would go home and renew my permit and not really pay it any mind lol. well i busted that puppy out for age verification the other day and it had expired on me damn it. call the dmv to make an appt and no dice, it was about a 3 wk wait for an appt and if i waited to long i would have to retest and do all the other happy horse crap. well me and the mrs ventured in today as a walk in first thing this am haha. 4 hours later i have a new permit and damn if i wasnt about to die. no carb day all that time and all the stupidest people on the planet in their with kids hanging off the walls while raising ever more hell. i was about to die the whole time. it's done and over now but from now on i will renew that bad boy online at 6 months out from when it expires. SO FOR YOUR GUNS FRIENDLY REMINDER OF THE DAY. CHECK YOUR PERMIT AND DONT SUFFER AS I DID haha

DMV is one of the worst places on earth. There are more goofy people down there than in a walmart on welfare payday.
Last year I let mine expire and I had to take the written and the driving test. What a pain in theass -

what's funny is the dude working the front desk was a very nice laid back cool black dude. the guy that put my app and processed my permit was a complete rude angry dick head black dude. when you go out of your way to be nice to someone and they are an ass it really irritates the shit out of me. i was polite nice and respectful. i cant say he was the same but i held my tongue the entire time so i didnt get thrown out and have to come back. the workers from my original state are the same way, complete ass holes but the front desk guy got me thinking hey "maybe these people are cooler" wrong answer. fucking pricks across the boardOriginally posted by apbt549 View PostTGBSupplements REP

you want to know the worse i have ever seen in my entire life? when i was processing my va case through before i got out i had a va case worker handling my process. so i stopped in to make sure i had everything i needed blah blah. he tells me i am good to go and i asked hey sir bout how long you think it will take for you to get my package submitted? dude looked me straight in the face and told me he got paid regardless of how many packages he got out and that it would be submitted when he got to it. how's that for a awesome gov worker? i got tons of stories dealing with these people that would both blow your mind and make you sick at the same timeOriginally posted by jipped genes View PostTGBSupplements REP

The DMV is like the damn twilight zone. You walk through those doors into another dimension of weirdness. Where all the strange people congregate and normal people no longer exist lol. There's always 50 screaming kids, a 3 hour line, that one person that is upset asking 10,000 questions holding everything up and at least two people that look like they haven't showered in 6 months.Train Till Your Eyes Bleed!

the system is absolutely terrible man. some areas are ok but the vast majority are bad. i have a 100% perm disability rating and i am a tier one patient meaning i have a front of the line for all and any care. the wait time for me can be up to 4 months and the shortest can be around a month. now dont get me wrong the doc that is my primary is an awesome lady and does her best but she even admits you are far better off using your retired insurance as opposed to the va system. the wounded warrior people are far more deligent and helpful than the va ever has been so far..Originally posted by jipped genes View Post
