Re: Done with Nike and the rest...

here is my thought on nike. i happen to know the dude that works in our shoe store here locally, he is actually the manager there. anyway he was a big time track coach at one of the colleges in my state until he retired. you go in and he will watch you walk or run and after taking a look at your feet and how your feet look he will put you in a pair of shoes that are best for you. so i saw him about every 3-4 months when i was still on active duty and i asked him one time, hey man why dont you ever put us into nike? he says well for one they arent good for your body and how you run and 2 why would i sell you something that if they tear up in the first 30 days the company wont take them back? i thought that was both cool on his part and shitty on their part. now i have found a pair or two of nike that i can actually squat and dead lift in that dont hurt my knees or back but they dont last to long with that kind of abuse

You are the third person I know to vouch for these shoes. I'm gonna have to give them a go.

Nice looking shoes! I'm definitely gonna have to check them out. I've bounced around from Nike, to Reebock, to New Balance and every brand in between. None of them ever seem to last too long if you put them through some work.

I've always been a nike guy but think I need to look into other brands.. for a long time nike had the market locked down now I don't think they do.. they live off there name which doesn't mean there aren't others out there who make as good or better then they do
