here is my thought on nike. i happen to know the dude that works in our shoe store here locally, he is actually the manager there. anyway he was a big time track coach at one of the colleges in my state until he retired. you go in and he will watch you walk or run and after taking a look at your feet and how your feet look he will put you in a pair of shoes that are best for you. so i saw him about every 3-4 months when i was still on active duty and i asked him one time, hey man why dont you ever put us into nike? he says well for one they arent good for your body and how you run and 2 why would i sell you something that if they tear up in the first 30 days the company wont take them back? i thought that was both cool on his part and shitty on their part. now i have found a pair or two of nike that i can actually squat and dead lift in that dont hurt my knees or back but they dont last to long with that kind of abuse
