kicked in the face training with a newbie at my camp.

had surgery wednsday. doc rooted out my impacted sinuses (from previous broken nose i suffered last August in my fight) and trimmed the turbinates while in there. my face hurts so bad! i hate taking hydrocodone. it's weird but all my teeth hurt too, and my throat is sore, probably from the breathing tube. i have been taking 1/2 tab and 2 ibuprofen.

any natural pain relievers, anti inflamatories, ect that will not react badly with my pain meds and antibiotics? just sitting here in misery with my beak draining wishing i was fishing. it is cool and beautiful outside but i just cannot get up and go i feel so bad.

i dread the removal of the splints next week. but damn i will be a sexy mofo with my new straight nose and i won't talk all nasally because i will be able to breathe though my nose. it's worth it.

oh damn man that's stupid painful looking. hopefully your septum isnt jacked up now and the surgeon was good to go. you can also take a look at valarine root for help sleeping, muscle relaxation and a host of other benefits. i am not aware of it interacting with anything other than sleep meds

thanks y'all. i stopped the pain pills as they lock a fella up. having a huge bloated belly from the pain meds and anesthesia is just as bad as a sore beak. my face feels like i took a helluva beating. my teeth hurt and the roof of my mouth hurt. nose is sore and drips blood tinged clear stuff and won't stop. hurts to gently wipe my nose or i can wear a pad which catch the drips. i wore it for the first day but i hated it. good news is i can actually breathe through my nose even with the plastic splints up in there. you can see why the pad is so gross.
