matthew 25:40 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'

funny, so many christians are the biggest hypocrites. Also some of the finest people I have met have been christian. there aremany folk who do it because they are a member of a club without wanting to live by the word they are taught.

Have a christian friend who firmly believes that all catholics are going to hell and the pope is the anti christ. Ok. I could argue with him all day about it but why bother lol

They are just as important as anyone.
This is how I think you can see the true character of a man. How he treats others from whom he can gain nothing. Most people are nice to those they can benefit from, but someone who is genuinely nice to the person that can do nothing for him is truly kind. I always try to treat everyone with the same kindness regardless of their status in the world.

I am a christain. I am far from perfect and will never be close to perfect. I just try to do the best i can.

I see what everyone is saying and I agree totally. Just because you say "I'm a christian, I go to church." That doesnt make you a good person, how you treat others and trying to be the best possible version of yourself is what makes you good. I dont go to church every sunday or strictly follow a religion. I read my Bible and do what I believe that it means to me personally.

I agree with you animal. I have a very strong faith in God and I do not go to church or even read the Bible. I attended Sunday school every week until I was confirmed at age 13. I also went to a Catholic girls HS and had to take religion all 4 years. So it has been a part of my life but what I feel has really made me believe is the strength in my faith to get me through hard times and life's trials. I think it is wrong for a person to push their beliefs and religion on others. Each individual has a right to be who they chose and believe as they chose. Does it make them wrong not believe in God? Absolutely not, imo. True Christians do not judge. I do believe that comes with growth though and at some time every person judges something or someone. When I catch myself doing that, and I still do, I have to remind myself not to.

people may have believed and may not any more or vice versa. That decision could have been based on an event or something that happened in their life. Who are we to know? Who are we to say they are wrong...
