This "friend" went off on a sweet girl who works at the store

Ok, heres a real event and feel free to share your thoughts and opinions.
A "friend" of mine, who is a well known business owner around here. Most people know who he is. Im at this store the other day, and his name came up with the manager of this place. She said he was in there recently and got mad and went off on her and called her names and pointed at her and shouted "You will be on welfare in 6 months!". She said she thinks the man is a big bully. She told me she almost cried , he was so mean.

Now, the interesting part is that for the last year or so this guy has been coming by and telling me about his business mens bible study that he goes to once a week, and church and about how christian he has become.

So now I am waiting until he comes in again and I am going to say something. Maybe ask him how he likes his new reputation as a bully. Maybe I will ask him if his friends at bible study know that he is a bully lol

It says a lot about a person how they treat the "little" people of the world. The wal mart worker, the waiter or waitress, the service worker, the trash man, the girl at the mcdonalds drive thru. I dont even feel right calling them little people because they arent. They are just as important as anyone. If I go out with a girl and she treats the waitress like crap, there is no second date. I dont tolerate that crap. I was sitting with a guy once at a restaurant and this guy humiliated a waitress for forgetting to leave the cucumbers off his salad. I TOLD YOU NO CUCUMBERS ON MY SALAD!!!...After that, I cant say I ever viewed the guy in the same way. There is no excuse for that. This dude telling that sweet girl that she will be on welfare in 6 months, while he is a rich business man who wants people to know that he goes to church. Thanks for letting me rant

Ugh that sux Dzone. many so called "Christians" feel that women are not their equal. Now I am only speaking of some I have come across Those same people have been the most hypocritical mean people I have unfortunately seen to. Exactly baby1, more good people than bad. I want to believe so anyway. Yes, there are some people who are real christians. Im not trying to rip on christians or any of that. Im irked by hypocrites who dont live like they claim to live. Oh and bullies.

We can always have a weak moment where we let our tempers get the best of us. Always best to stay calm and not say anything. One time, I was sitting in wells fargo over some old loan and I told the lady that I dont like wells fargo and that they are too big and I wont do business with them. I never said anything about her, just the company and I didnt say it in an angry tone. Later I felt bad about it and was sorry that I even said anything, like that lady didnt need me telling her what a crappy company she works for lol

Im gonna have to disagree with that comment Baby, thats not how us Christians are supposed to act at all. It doesnt matter what faith you are sometimes our human nature will come out whether its pride/anger or whatever.

I liked that comment about being nice to the little people of the world. I enjoy talking with those in that position because just a simple "hi how are you, hows your day going" can do alot for someones day.

Maybe you didn't understand what I said but I have seen so called "Christians" act that way and I certainly do not condone that . Claim to be so into and practicing the Bible yet they can be the most selfish and mean and certainly don't "practice what they preach". I am a Christian also but not part of any "reborn" Christian. So you are right hick, that is NOT how good Christians should act

Dzone, I totally understand what you mean and how you felt, I have done the same myself . The problem is when people do something like that and they don't feel bad at all.

Have this christian friend who recently had a student whos wife was dying in the hospital in another state. My friend flew there on his dime, had exactly one hour to spend praying and talking to this lady, then he got back in a cab and flew back home. He paid for the whole trip himself. He didnt say too much about it.

Not to incite anyone but the people I know who go out of their way to tell you they're Christians and go off about their bible studies and all they do for their church end up being the most unchristian people I've ever seen. Got oe born again baptist I work with who came right out and said he's going to heaven cuz he accepted Christ as his savior. I said you still need to live a good life and he said no I've accepted Christ as my savior. I said so as long as you accept him as your savior you can lie, cheat, steal, shit on people, diddle children etc and go to heaven and he said yea as long as you accept Christ as your savior you're guaranteed to go to heaven. Think a great many of them view it as a get out jail free card. Or they're just the world's biggest hypocrites
