  • So i'm in the south

I went to Tennessee and my daughter was just so excited for me to get there and was calling and texting me until I got there. So i'm in the shuttle and I see her outside the Hotel and I roll down the window and screamed "whats up booboo and I got out she ran up to me jumped into my arms started to cry. Now to the point. Last night some southern dude came up to me and I guess saw what happen in the shuttle and my baby running up to me so he came up to me and said "that was so nice of you to shout out you were coming and to hold your daughter and pick her up.This southern hospitality I can get used to.

Re: So i'm in the south

Its a real thing for sure. I think its more from people who have either grown up in the south or been here most of their life. Being kind and helpful to a total strange I think is normal, Now in florida you get a mix because of all the dang northerners that move down here but Ala, Ga, Carolinas its probably a little better up there.

There are still some good people in the north...look at us. It's just a faster paced type of living . I love where I grew up but at this age I would welcome a change

you know what actually blew me away and i have been all over the place? i went up to boston for about 5 days and i was blown away at how considerate and warm the people up there were. it was almost on point with being in the south. lot's of drinking and crazy driving but other than that very hospitable to say the least. hell i was dieting at the time and didnt have cooking facilities in my hotel and the hotel staff went out of their way to locate places that delivered the foods i needed and even ordered it for me. cant beat that

Ha, people around here in Boston for the most part are nice. It is a fast paced city and all business so it's hard to not lose site and just chill the hell out. Glad to hear a decent review of my home town..lol
