The only failure we have is inside ourselves....our self doubt. Push beyond it and achieve what others only dream of. Don't do it for them...or anyone else but yourself. Because that's what we have to live with....the feelings we have for ourselves and how we feel about ourselves.

I live in a small town where the population is mainly retirement folks. I go to the gym 5 times a week and when I do not feel like working out I think of a couple that works out 3 times per week like clock work. He is 88yrs old and she is 86yrs old and he walks with a cane and she has a walker. They both have trouble walking but they do not let that get in their way, especially when working out. I talk to them every day they are at the gym and they have been married for 69yrs. It is incredible watching them give it their all when hitting the machine weights I have known them about 3 yrs and the only times that they do not workout 3 times a week is when they are sick or have appointments. I can look at BB's and others that inspire me but nothing like this couple that have great attitudes about life and how to extend their lives.

I have said this before as well, the elderly inspire me very much In fact they inspire me so much that I liked to do my cardio by the elderly chair yoga class and they kicked me out of their area during the class,lol

This is something I listen to almost everyday. It truly inspires me and I try to apply these rules to every aspect of my life. Each time I come to a challenging moment, or stressful situation... I think of this, apply it and push through. Dig deep down.. Believe in yourself.. No pain, no gain.

i know i am a little late but i will put up what i tell my clients and what i always drive myself with:

their is always going to be someone bigger and better than you are and you cannot control that. if you give it your all day in day out, you dont miss meals, you dont miss that cardio and you dont cheat. then at the end of your journey if you do lose you are still a winner. you did everything in your power to be the best that you could be and their is no way you can look back and say if i did this or i did that what if. it isnt their because you did everything you possibly could have
