Mowing the lawn

Even when I was a teen, I would put on the headphones and mow the lawn to music. This also was a good workout. Was happy though when my dad bought a gas mower,lol

i have one myself right now that is brand spanking new. i also have a gas mower as well. the greens keepers on golf courses use this type of mower because the cut is much more precise and it all in all does a much better job

I planted grass this year on easter sunday and it already needs to be mowed. First year ever for planting grass. Yes, helluva good fat burning workout

I like mowing the lawns it is a good workout, and I love the way it makes the house smell when ya open the windows.

when i was 14 i started mowing in the neighborhood for members of our church. then i got other jobs from word of mouth. I made $10 a yard took me an hour to and hour and a half and a half each. the minimum wage was $3.35. I liked mowing. I had about 8-9 yards all pretty close. I would do most on saturday and the rest after church on sunday.

i look back at that time with fondness. i still like to mow the lawn although my son does it now

My yard is too rocky to grow grass good. I cant cut it super short without throwing up a dust cloud lol.

I love cutting the grass with push mower and my iPad get a tan and burn some bf also it's peaceful to me no ringing phones

HAHA me too. i bought a walkman for $69 in the early 80s. probably equivalent to $200 now. had to have extra batteries as they would go dead so fast.

i was a skinny tanned kid and thought i was king of the world. $$$ in my pocket doing something i might have done for free HAHA. great memories

Did any one ever use these grass clippers to cut along the sidewalk? Oh how I hated those. lol
