They had their door unlocked.

That is first and foremost a horrific idea on the parents part. They admitted they leave their doors unlocked all the time.

That would have ended very differently in my yard, but I'm glad they got their daughter back. Hopefully they learn to lock their doors.

omg...just read it....needless to say it would've also ended differently at my place...I have an almost-5yr old niece...I can only imagine....What the hell was the husband doing!? "Looking terrified"?? That helped alot....

I read this a few days ago. I'm not sure why we still lock people like that up here. Unlocked doors or not the parents shouldnt have to worry about that. If people like that were publicly executed there wouldnt be any of this going on.

Wow. I can see how trying to remain calm may have aided in no injuries to the chil. But once he handed her over...all calm woukd havecwent out the window. Luke dragging him back inside the house so my right to execute woukd be validated

I agree and this would have solved a few problems one I would have felt better after I was done and the other now tax payers don't have to pay for this dead beat or his trial......
