  • Generation Iron

Just watched the documentary "Generation Iron" and thought it was pretty good, but I am also biased because I enjoy most body building videos. I definitely recommend checking it out. It follows a lot of the current top bodybuilders and follows them through there journey to the Mr.Olympia competition that just went down in Vegas.

It's pretty good. A more modern version of Pumping Iron. It was cool to see the way different people go about their lives for the same event.

I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

I thought it was pretty good too, always cool to me to see these monsters going about their daily routines. I found it online for free, I'm sure anyone interested in seeing it can do the same :-)

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.

There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

I like ole Branch Warren. He reminds me of myself, how he trains so hard and is no-nonsense when it comes to lifting.

I liked it. It's interesting to me watching them in their everyday lives and how different competitors prepare for the Olympia.
