No. Me neither. That's like accusing someone of raping their own mother. It is somethin else to see what some people create in their minds and then those that take the bait.

Here's one instance! I said this to Pigmeat in his good question about why I use the media links if I think they are lies.
That's actually a good question, and I give you props on that. The truth is I know how most of my opponents swear by the media, and happen to think every government spewed piece of propoganda is truth. So I'm throwing their own facts at them, by the media they so willfully follow.

Also as I've said before, the media HAS to report many facts in order to gain public trust, so when they do spew the government fabricated lies people don't think twice about it.

It's actually quite brilliant if you think about it. They're not stupid in the least!

After I posted that a few posts later you do the following....

How do you go from this?...

Apparently if you had any comprehension skills, your question would've been answered. Instead you decided to take the mature route and spin what I said, and form it to try and make me look like an idiot. What you did instead is back yourself into a corner.

You asked for one instance, you've got it!

    WHO LOOKS DUMB NOW?
YOU! Come on dj. You can't be that confused. Those are your very own statements that I quoted. The media is all government mandated lies in one post and in another everything the media says is fact???

Man yet again, COMPREHENSION IS YOUR FRIEND!!! AGAIN I'LL RE-POST WHAT I WROTE SO YOU CAN TRY AND COMPREHEND IT THIS TIME! I'M NOT TO SURE THAT'S POSSIBLE THOUGH!

Here's a copy of what I wrote on page 2 of this thread.....(just so you can follow I cut out the part that pertains to "the reason I know" as you put it.

Truckers have gone from making 50k to now barely making 10k, mortgage brokers are taking a huge hit, construction industry has been devastated! Don't tell me unemployment is low! That's just numbers of people that are actually on unemployment! Do you think they go house to house and ask if you're unemployed? I know tons of people that are unemployed because of the market, and don't collect unemployment because they know they won't qualify for one reason or another. So they wouldn't be included in those statistics. Those statistics are padded!

My father in law is a foreman for a MAJOR construction company that does predominantely government projects. Not little crap, I'm talking BILLION dollar contracts! Even they had to lay off over 600 employees because where they used to be scheduled years out, they aren't even scheduled out 6 months anymore! All of the companies are taking a dive!

Then finally here's links I provided that you clearly didn't read.....or maybe you did and again lacked the ability to comprehend what you just read!

    1. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080305/...fi/fed_economy

    2. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...01053.html?g=1

    3. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080307/fed_credit_crisis.html

    4. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080307/economy.html

    And here's a new one....

    5. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080307/...h/bush_economy

I think my point is well proven. I'm willing to be the next few comments from you will be a mix of bashing, flaming, opinions, with no facts or links to back up anything you claim. This is the usual horsepwr post. Although I'd love to think otherwise, people like you never change. That's why this country is like it is. There's an abundance of people like yourself THAT JUST DON'T GET IT!

How do you know that the media/government isn't inflating the economic slump? How do you know that it's not all "government mandated lies"? As you have put it, that's all the media is. I mean, the economy should definitely be something the government would lie about. That's the life blood of America! The government wouldn't want to give off a pretense of a failing economy would they?
It's nice how you cut only the middle of my explanation to make me look dumb, but if again you comprehended the rest of my post that went with what you cut out of it, you would understand how both of my statements coincided with each other.

Do I need to cut and paste both of my posts again for you to read? Or are you capable of scrolling and re-reading them again?

How do I know it's not lies? BECAUSE EVERYONE I PERSONALLY KNOW IS BEING EFFECTED BY IT RIGHT NOW! No one I know is rolling in the cash! Many were before, and are struggling to make it now. It's the same old argument with you. I'm not going to retype the same thing again and sound like a broken record because you simply can't comprehend my post.

How about learning how to debate before you step in the ring. Provide links with each one of your views. If you can't do that.....DON'T STEP IN THE RING!

I know it's hard for some of you to ever admit you're wrong, but face it, you're wrong.

I've said before Bush himself can come out and admit 9/11 is a conspiracy, and the same people that deny it know would still be in denial. That seems to be the issue. Those on the other side of the fence seem to be in some strange state of denial. Almost as if government couldn't possibly pull any of this off, or the U.S can't be failing.

Bertrand Russell called this back in the 30's. That's what the vaccines, the pharmaceuticals, and the additives in food are supposed to do. Make people think government can do no wrong. Basically make them accept their fate, and live the lie. As I said before he won a nobel prize for it. Apparently he was dead on!

    Re: Great Depression again?

man oh man, i'm a writer so i understand the mindset of media, media is not interested in knowledge they are interested in DRAMA/EMOTIONS

the mind has a natural filter in it, thus a writer to make a point must make things ten times bigger than normal, cause if they wrote the facts they woudl fall flat

example, romance novels, every guy is trouble, hot and sensitive, why???

because when it goes thru the minds filter it minimizes it, so the character to the reader reminds them of someone they know or have met, or can relate too

on a side not, to think most readers click on your link is not good thinking, if you can't state what is what yourself who is the debator, no one will go off on a goose chase

economy wise, we are in for a big lesson, credit and leverage is not the way to run a life, family, country, etc.

    money does not disappear

the stock market took trillions of dollars from others during the internet bubble

    where did that money go

they levered it up, and lent it back to them for sub-prime mortgages, and now they are losing it all back and more

like ronnie paul said, the dollar is the devil in the details, we will now just follow the dollar wherever it goes, most likely lower

which just means, the world charges us higher interest rates for borrowing more money, a vicious circle

just put it on a personal level, how does someone get out of credit card debt, well the nation will follow that plan, with pain comes gains

one more time, the great depression had 25% unemployment for a decade, we are below five

bestt guess for future, we saved the world during two world wars, we saved emergin markets in the 70-80-90's by financing every failed goverment idiocy, we give more aid and money than all other countries combined

the tide will turn soon, no one knows when

no solidground. I do realize that we have issues in areas, but to put it as another great depression is nothing short of absurd. While there are areas of economic recession, there are sections of thriving economy.

During the great depression, if you were a farmer/crop/grain/livestock, you suffered. That aspect of the economy is thriving. Commercial construction hasn't slowed. Areas of retail haven't skipped a beat. Although the stock market has seen some downs recently, it set record highs last quarter.
I do realize our dollar is declining though also. I am not denying there are areas of economic struggle.

Ron paul and other on our failing economic system, and the inevitable collapse of the dollar (DUE TO DEBT!!)

Monetary Policy and the State of the Economy by Ron Paul by Ron Paul DIGG THIS Statement at Hearing of the House Financial Services Committee, February 15, 2007 Transparency in monetary policy is a goal we should all support. I’ve often wondered why Congress so willingly has given up its prerogative over monetary policy. Astonishingly, […]
