Just discovered this thread as well and while its been 7 years the pain of losing a child is still strong, and my condolences as well.

I like to look at this thread from 9 years ago to read all the overwhelming support we had here at FG and to see so many people still with us today. Our nightmare began on the 15th of August 9 years ago and we remember our baby girl tomorrow the 17th, when she became an angel.

I am greatful to be here still to be with my family and I can tell you that this had to be the hardest thing in life for us so far. We are truly blessed and I have every ounce of faith that Gabriella is with us daily and I always tell my daughter that her sister is on her shoulder...especially when she is competing in a sport, or if she is afraid of something.

My message to all is to try to be thankful for who is in your life!

I will continue to bump this every year. Getting ready to visit her and let the balloons go. Be grateful people...it is about the children. This whole year has beena true awakening and anger filled. Don't ever feel that there is a time limit on your or anyone elses grief. Today is like the day it happened. I can accept finally that this doesn't mean anything to most except myself, fuzo, mini and my parents. I just hope it helps others take a look at themselves and realize you never know what God has planned for you. We still and always will feel blessed. One person who helped us through this initial pain is O2! thanks for being like a brother to Fuzo

I have four people in my life including you and Fuzo who have lost children and I cannot fathom the strength you all have to go on after such a loss. I'd be a lost cause. God bless your little angel waiting for you and your precious child making memories with you still.

Thanks guns, it means a lot. One of the hardest things for me to come to grasp with was people that do not acknowledge our loss or some ignorant things that are said. Part of the reason I deal with hard times in silence . I understand the reason now
