Squirrels, ducks, geese, stray cats, skunk, cable guy...they all come to our door and want in,lol. Waiting on the coyotes and deer! This baby squirrel was causing quite the ruckus with our cats. Some see animals, and some see dinner! This house is fun and spirits! Boo!
I was at my brother's house when he lived in Morristown NJ. I was on the back porch sipping coffee before light in the morning. I had my eyes closed, when I opened them there were 20 deer in his yard 40 feet from me. I did not hear them come in. I was too tired to get scared but they were not scared of me at all.
Here in Texas, I have had a beaver, wild turkey, and coyotes in my yard. Of course squirrels and snakes too. And this was the latest critter. A Texas fence lizard. they are everywhere. I read when they burrow they are laying eggs. So I reckon we will have some babies soon.
i grew up in the mountains, so the wildlife were everywhere. not uncommon for me at all. now it's just random rabbits squirrels and deer and i live in the city haha. oh and the random black bear

i am not scared of snakes just dont care for them. if it was my older brother he would have went in the house until it was gone.. growing with him was fun he would beat my ass all the time but if a snake was in the yard no matter what kind he would go in the house and not come out until his little brother killed it...
I used to be scared shitless of snakes, utterly freaked out, but had no choice and had to start taking them on one on one or I would have been overrun with snakes. I had to force myself to stand toe to toe with rattlesnakes. Now I am a rattlesnake killing pro. lol
I'm not a fan of snakes. My grandparents used to live near a river and always had water moccasins coming up in the yard. I remember having to be real careful as kids when we went over there.

only thing on this planet that i am absolutely terrified of. i dont do snakes point blank period. me personally i wont get close enough to take them out with a hoe or machete. if i come across a poisonous one, i will grab a shotgun or pistol and handle my business. for real though, i have ran into gunfire stood over top of live ieds and a host of other things that would make most piss their pants but put me next to a snake and it's game over. i had a dry bite from a copper head when i was about 10 or so and i have never been the same since.
