yay me.... i got my you have to appear notice. i wonder how mad they will be when i show up in gym shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. who cares if its 30 outside, i am making a statement that i am bat shit crazy

10 years ago i got jury duty.. went in wearing a pro biker shirt.. well more than pro i suppose.. picked the first case that came up, first lawyer to ask me a question i told him i DGF crime is only a crime if your caught and i dont trust law enforcement.. never got called again..

They will make you go home and re-schedule you for another date. But I understand the sentiment. I bet somewhere in your summons it will say "no flip flops, tank tops and shorts"

nope nothing at all about appropriate dress. i read it thoroughly to see what it said. only stipulation is a valid photo id no weapons and consent to search upon entering the court house. that is it haha. they do require you to tuck in your shirt when you enter the courthouse here for any business. i do know that haha

Damn, jury duty sucks, especially when you have to miss work for it. Sitting in a courtroom for any amount of time is hideous. Civic duty my ass. Let someone else do some civic duty in my place. Someone who wants to.

couple of my police officer friends tell me that their are tons of people that want to be on there and that they try to drag out trails as long as possible. they say it's mainly the 30 year old and under crowd that still live with their parents and dont have jobs. they told me they love to see people like me get on there because i will not let them fuck off and drag it out because i actually have a life and dont try to milk the system

Our judge will hold you in contempt if you take off an overshirt to reveal a tank top (if you are a man only) Also men must wear closed toe shoes. And men must wear long pants but women can wear a skirt showing their ass.

I tell'em I'm too f#ucked up to sit in a court room. C'mon, ever see anybody sittin' in a Jury Booth that looked like they could be your peer ? I been through enough serious court bulls3it in my lifetime... so kiss my ass.

i got a jury summons a couple years ago then i was picked to serve on the jury.. what a long day. the trail was a joke. didnt get out of there until almost 8pm that night..if you dont sign for the summons how do they know you got the summons?

I got a summons a few years ago and it was boring as hell. Basically sat around until called, only to be dismissed lol.

i have no clue but i wouldnt try to not comply. i would be the first person in my state held in contempt for not showing up. so they could make an example with me. that's my luck and i dont push my luck haha

I’ve served city and county. Got called for federal but the case got settled. So I escaped that one. I hated jury duty.
