report cards were a piece of paper that your folks had to sign and return.

There was NOTHING on tv for kids unless it was saturday morning or after school (or if you were lucky enough to have a kid sister to hold the rabbit ears just right, sunday afternoon you could watch reruns of tarzan, kung fu movies or 3 stooges for an hour. AND you were the remote for your 13" black and white TV, you wanted the volume up, go twist the knob.

We earned $. I bet all us older guys worked from when we were 12-13 delivering papers or mowing lawns or both. Kids are weak today but I bet that is what the generation said about us.

lol your right i told the kids you know who the remote was when i grew up? they said who me and my brother thats who. we were the remote the rabbit ear operator etc. three stooges were classic.. then we got cable and mtv came out.. that didnt go over at all. then my brother and i got a 13" black and white tv for our room and we thought we were top shit..

turn dials on the tv lol. how about the old boot leg cable boxes where you could get the movie channels without paying haha. i also remember how huge and heavy the old tv sets were. they were freaking massive. that and old black and whites that even had radios on them as well as the tv.

how about beta max tapes and the old vhs camcorders that weighed like 40lbs?

Don’t forget about the 50’ satellite dish that someone in your neighborhood had lol. My dad had a 73 Jeep [emoji592] with a V8 in it and damn that thing had power! Miss it. But when Double Dribble came out for Nintendo the 3 different dunk screens I was in awe lol!

yep atari was the shit, we played it on a black and white tv haha. how about the green screen computers in school? i am pretty sure they were the original apples. i also did word processing on a no shit word processer that was as big as the desk. i also learned to type on a type writer in school that you had to manually move the mechanism back each line. these kids have no idea and i am not even really that old haha

yessir, drive in movies. the one i went to growing up still has the screen platform up. it's grown up and not used any more but it's still there. we would go in my parents or grand parents truck and lay in the bed of the truck. one of the old towns we drive through on our way home to visit still has an open active drive in haha. it's near mayberry nc lmao
