Rado: Be 100% sure you want a pool. Have you ever owned a pool before?

I've known a few people who got pools. Used them for a couple of years then that was it. They got tired of the pool, and maintenance is a real pain. Plus they get costly, especially if you pay someone to take care of it for you.

Maintenance isn't too bad if your pool is enclosed like a few of those appear to be. But if it's enclosed you really have to watch for mold and mildew problems because of the constant humidity.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

pool upkeep is expensive my electric bills are $320 during the summer and i spend tons on new fixtures and furniture and stuff like that, i think after we are in the house for a while it will slow down but i am broke right now from the dinig room table my wife bought that has a F#CKING marble top and cost more than my 16 week cycle by 3 times. just dont try to fill every room immediately and you should be ok. also budget time for yard work or hire someone i like it so i do it myself but it takes lots of time.

damn! we dont need heated pools in Texas we need refrigerated pools so it dosnt feel like you are swimming in warm pee during the summer.
