  • For those who own a home

My GF and I went today to check out some houses and so far we looked at the one's that are about 2750 sq ft through some that have some 3100 sq ft..for those of you who own a new home, about how much money do any of spend on a monthly basis for any kind of upkeeps? So far we looked at 3 of them, all in the low $200k and one was at $215k...They all have 4 BR's with 3.5 bathrooms and a 2 car garage with it...Screened in pool, one of them had wood floors, mostly that I primarily need is a nice size master bedroom and a nice size solarium...I will post some pics as soon as I download them, any help is appreciated, thanks

its not that bad, upkeep isn't too bad bro, my toilet broke the other day, cost me about 70 bucks to get it fixed, other than that you put all your money into fixing up, painting etc...

and you do feel different don't you? like it's your shit and you do what you want right? I have so many things going on right now, between my cycle coming up, the bike I want to get, and well some other shit I want to do, I don't know what to do or where to start either.......

      thx for the PM though....

to me there is nothing better than owning your own home, I have a yard for the dogs, everytihng in the house is mine, I make the rules I do what I want. And not to mention it goes up in value an average of 3000 per year. So as i'm paying it down, the value is going up, so its a great investment.

I do have a roomate, a good friend of mine and he takes care of shit around here too, I have friends who come over all the time and use the hottub and pool table, and just to get away and chill, I also have close friends I give keys to, but like I said I am the boss, I run shit around here and I make the rules and thats the part I like the best.

this was the very 1st one we actually saw, it's $275K but I didn't like the damn kitchen, too white for her and myself...although we did like the rest of the house...we would have to spend some loot to re-decorate the kitchen, I would guess maybe $3K or so...
