What do you do to help ease pain? NO meds or supps in this thread please. I am looking for remedies that require none of those
As a sufferer for the past 9 years, to get my endorphins going it is music music and more music and lots of laughs. Deep breathing/meditation works but I don't do that much.
Well, people use this CBD stuff from marijuana thats supposed to block pain but doesnt make you high. I dont know how it works but you would have to live in a legal state.
Lately, Ive been getting relief from inflammation from tart cherry concentrate. Of course, I take a whole lot of other stuff too
thanks for the ideas. I guess I am speaking of longterm chronic pain? I know my whole body dumped in ice water, head and all, may work, lol. Doesnt sound pleasant
Yes, long term chronic pain, first the anti inflammatory diet, whichever one you are on. The Superfood diet is a good one. Mega nutrients for sure. Flooding your system with different nutrients from multiple sources...
You might look into some of the chinese stuff. Some of it has been around for thousands of years and they still use it

My problem is there are just so many thing that I react too, including nutritious foods. Def have to ditch dairy, anything with nitrates, gluten, even some fruits and veggies.
sauna has been working pretty well for me a couple times a week baby1. the creams i use work pretty good both otc and the nerve pain one i get from the doc. it has lidocane in it so it numbs the areas ok. getting around and moving has made a hell of impact on my issues. i know it's hard to do but any kind of motion helps and not pushing it to far. flossing is another good one for some issues. maybe start trying some alkaline water ed to pull out acidity and i have also heard the same thing with baking soda. i have not done the baking soda myself but the water i have. that and staying extremely well hydrated at all times

I know anything warm right now would worsen this flare. You are right though on the movement. I will have to tone it down again at the gym till this passes.. Yoga would actually be the ideal thing for me I just havent got my ass to the place to start triyng it. My labs did indicate that my boy is not really acidic but anything can improve. What it did show is a high creatinine but the BUN is normal. I am not surprise by the number beacsue I think it correlates with my ankle pain and swelling as well as my legs in general.

crap then. your body isnt breaking down protein properly then. i would say lay on your back on the floor with your feet straight up on the wall. may pull some of the pain out of your legs and feet and will def pull the swelling out. idk if it is going to throw it off somewhere else in your body though. yoga would be good to go or maybe even look into the low impact pilates or water aerobics if you can find them in your area. couple of the gyms here offer it and they have tons of people that get in there.

funny you say this, cause this is about the only yoga pose I have mastered and I do do this quite frequently. As much as I dont want to. I am headed to the doc soon to get a medrol dosepak so I can get this calmed down a bit. It always helps me and the goofball wouldnt give it to me over the phone. I agree that exercise in the water is so very beneficial to the body
