It's hot here in the desert so that's part of my issue but I'm absolutely bored with food and even more so with protein. How do you get out of this funk? I could careless about eating!!! I force myself but to be honest I feel like being a vegetarian I'm so tired of chicken. I can't eat fish due to a dangerous allergy and I have a bad dairy allergy! I've thought about pork but my lady hates it. So we are stuck with fn chicken! Yes I eat red meat but I just don't like too more than once or twice a week.
get lean cuts of red meat 6 if you are concerned with cholesterol. sirloins grilled and then tossed into the food processor are great and fast to eat and your body digests it very quickly. also 93/7 ground beef on the foreman is almost fat free but it is a tad dry. you can also grind down your sirloins toss them on the foreman and make burgers out of them as well. ground turkey and turkey are another great food option. their are tons of different alternatives you can do. my best suggestion would be to go down to a base line protein carb and fat intake for a couple of weeks to let you body get hungry and then go game on again. that or add in some additional cardio to stoke your appetite and metabolism up

Guns great suggestions, I tried baseline and helped for a week or so but then back to the issue. Plus I was traveling for work so I was very limited!
I like the turkey idea for sure. Did ground turkey last week and it was decent.
Try powder protein for a week u will want to eat food agin after thT works everytime for me
I used to do that a lot! Especially when traveling for work but with this dam dairy allergy I have to be careful how much I intake. I can get 4 servings of a good hydro isolate in a day (morning and post workout). Anymore and I'm not a happy camper!

if the baseline isnt keeping you going then the only other option i could brain storm would be to go keto for a bout 2 wks with maintaince protein and fats only. so for a 250lber i would say:
250g protein and that's it and
500g of fats from mct oils and other even bacon sasauges etc.... as long as their carb free. i would try to get as much from good fats as possible but the other fats serve the puropose of energy also
ground turkey recipe I dig .. add non fat feta cheese or regular, pepper, and fresh mint leaves finely chopped gas grill'em. don't know why but the feta and mint kick it up a notch for sure.. wife got it online some where .
flank is still fairly reasonable I have found and pretty good and versitle with recipes too
I go through this every now and again too. I get so tired of the fish, chix, meat, and oats. The purists will cringe but I will go for a few days and just eat whatever I want. I eat crap like Hungry mans, whole pizzas, candy, ice cream. Within maybe 2- 3 days I am tired of junk and crave chix, meat and yes even disgusting fish. Hope you find something that works for you...being bored with the food we need eat can make the lifestyle feel like a major chore.

I'm so with you there. That's the only way I've been able to keep my calories high enough to not lose weight! Not so much on the candy side but def pizza and fatty foods that normally are nowhere near what I eat.
The sight of chicken or oats right now disgusts me!

Great thread responses
the downside to upping your cals with junk food is that it will further crush your appetite in the long run. kind of like plugging the pipes up further. for consistency we just have to find other alternatives to eating the amounts we need cause most people cant eat the same foods day in and day out. that's not to say that i dont indulge in pizza fried chicken and ice cream but i can eat like a horse at the drop of a hat and i try to keep those kinds of goodies around my more demanding training sessions like back and legs
