I can't keep the secret any longer. Muscle Addiction competed this past weekend on Saturday 10/18/2014. Our superstar Moderator won 1st Place in Super Heavyweight Division and took 3rd in the 40+ Overall Division after a 7 year break from competition. Many last minute obstacles were overcome to get to the stage, tune in later for the rest of the story.
Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.
There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
Trixie...you are a doll!!! Actually the competition was the weekend before last, but close enough lol. Yeah it was a bittersweet win as Trixie said there was a lot that had happened two days out from the show...Nikki was hospitalized with double bacterial kidney infections and was in the hospital the weekend of the show. It was a roller coaster ride for sure, almost pulled the plug but both Nikki and my dad pushed me to do the show. It was dedicated to her and her health!!! My daughters and MANY friends and family came out and were giving Nikki play by play by phone and text. I have some really great shots I would like to put up but don't have the app to pit a smiley face or cover up my face, but will work on it...here are a couple of other back shots though...
Those shots above were competing for the Overall which the guy in the middle won...he was a light heavyweight. I have to work more on my posing and stage presence, also some areas to develop more, but my next competition is in April 2015, so have some time. Thanks again Trixie for posting this, you and Rake are awesome!!! I did send some pics to Baby, FUZO, and guns too...but will post better ones when I can cover my face up...if it really makes a difference lol.
Thanks bros...as you all know work in progress. Everything I am doing now is working on the areas to improve for my next show in April. Thanks Guns for the critique, as a fellow competitor I like to get feedback on areas you see that need some attention. These long muscle bellies are a pain!!!
