Re: Love2liftkat's training log
This weeks workouts were good! They're improving from a few weeks ago. Strength is slowly coming back. I seem to go through odd waves of random weakness. It could be related to my hashimotos or just hormonal. Not sure but I am happy when strength is good! Haha Yesterday's workout was really good, or so I thought due to the amount I was sweating. I thought, I must really be pushing it bc this is more than usual. (I have been adding jump rope back between my sets as long as my knees feel ok.) Little did I know, the ac was actually out in the gym so it was just hotter in there! Hahaha Oh well, it was nice to have a really good sweat going on!
Here's a pic just for fun-the not so sweaty kind. Lol

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

People are supposed to be themselves, and nothing else.. I guess. At least that's my motto!Originally posted by Love2liftkat View PostIt's a journey! Just gotta work to get where we are happy! I'm 239 now and I must say, I don't enjoy this weight. I don't think I was meant to be this heavy, I don't like it one bit... So I know too that I have to up the cardio... Uhg

Re: Love2liftkat's training log
Alright so here's about where I am. As I've said before, I'd like to drop about 20 lbs and really lean out tremendously. I am not happy with the amount of fat I'm carrying right now. Trying my best to not get discouraged between the weight and pain. I know it's nothing compared to real life problems that people have but just a goal to fix things and be better!

Haha thanks! True! Definitely not a fan of medication not really even a fan of pills of any kind. LolOriginally posted by guns01 View Postyou have also been running and training really hard haha. i am pretty sure you had just added in the additional running. that beats the crap out of both my knees and back big time. i know it may seem like a small addition but every little edge helps for me and i am always looking for things to improve on comfort and less pain without medications

It is possible I let my fats get down too low. They have been in the 40's or under most days. I have been taking multi's and fish oils. I take the medivin packs. I am also taking transform forged joint repair supplement. I was able to squat 3 sets of 135x5 last Friday. Nothing spectacular but it felt good to finally put a plate back on there. Things are going well this week. Just playing it smart with my joints. Finally got some knee sleeve to see if that will help keep them warm and more comfortable. Hands/wrist felt good enough for some push press' and bench this morning!

Re: Love2liftkat's training log
I got bad knees too. Did crossfit for awhile and OLY lifting but my body couldn't hang. Back to the good old bodybuilding (it's where I belong anyhow).Originally posted by Love2liftkat View PostForgot to add I've been sticking to cycling for my cardio. I attempted to jog Tuesday but it killed my knees so I stopped that. Just trying to keep adjusting and pushing forward without letting it effect me.
I really like the stairs for cardio but I gotta start running again... :/

I know it, I get it too sometimes; mostly when I'm dehydrated and lacking healthy fats in the diet (omegas, etc).
Don't let it get you down. Looks like you had a good vacay, get afterrr it!
