If any has noticed I have not been on here a while. I have been in hospital since the 2nd.
I am home now.

I am glad you are home and hope you recover soon. M father has a-fibs all day everyday. they can be very scary and he has had to go in at least 5 times to have them shick his heart into rhythm. Be careful and watch yourself and we are glad to have you back. thyroid is normal right? A whacked out thyroid can give you afib too

Thyroid ois normal but will have it removed surgically soon.

Well that stinks. My dad ended up with an overload of iodine and it made his TSH to 0 hence he became hyper thyroid and it is causing chronic afib. I hope they get things under control for you and you feel better soon

Let me chime in here... im afib and had a bad bout the last year or so.. I was on some ph's and was active in sports. I was admitted numerous times with a heart rate of above 180 beats a minute at times. After a year or more and after seeing heart surgeons and such.. One of the emerg doctors did some blood work as usual but went a little further and told me that when I was admitted my blood was extremely thick which made it hard on my heart and part of the reason it went out of rhythm, he also said I was extremely dehydrated. .... anyhow; I stopped the ph's and started drinking alot of powerade, gatorade, cytosport s cytomax... when playing sports I hydrate early and throughout... haven't had nearly as many issues since! Hope it helps you and take care of yourself bro!
