I know this thread is a bit old, but I was looking for the same thing recently. Swedish is definitely the way to go if you're not into the 'pain' of deep tissue. I actually shifted more towards somatic sessions lately at Centred — it’s a bit different than a standard massage but way better for that mind-body connection everyone's talking about. Just my two cents for anyone still stumbling upon this thread.

Thanks in advance for any helpOriginally posted by tenilij View PostHello everyne.
Has anyone here had consistent experiences with Swedish massage? I’m considering trying it for relaxation and stress relief but would love to hear more about the actual benefits. How does it compare to other massage techniques like deep tissue or shiatsu?
I’m especially curious about how the strokes and pressure impact your overall well-being, and if it’s something that can help with muscle recovery after intense workouts.
Any advice on what to expect during a session or tips for maximizing its effects would be much appreciated!
